Sept. 3 (Bloomberg) — Former European Central Bank board member Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa said Europe has to rely more on domestic demand to fuel economic growth.
Padoa-Schioppa, who is also an advisor to the Greek government, said Greece is on a “long journey” to recover from its fiscal crisis and that the government’s first steps are “positive.” He was speaking in a Bloomberg Television interview from Cernobbio, Italy.
